I was heavy into rock climbing in 2008. It was a great new world full of adrenaline and challenge. I was noticing that everyone looked the same. Your trendy Colorado mountain styles were a bore... at least to me. One day while in the local sneaker shop I glanced over at the Jordan section. Immediately drawn over I looked at all the new models. I ended up picking up a pair of Reign low team shoes in the classic Chicago Bulls colors. You might recognize them on Jessie Lineman in the early seasons of Breaking Bad. They were soo cozy and a fresh new look at least for my eyes. This was the first "new" pair of Jordan I ever owned. I was in love. Before long I picked up the Old Skool 2's in the UNC colorway. A pair a would end up getting married in! Now only worn once a year on my anniversary. Later I found out two limited  colorways in the Spizike were soon to release. The design was brilliant. I was able to get the manager at Foot Locker to order me a pair of the stealth ones from a Denver store that was going to receive these shoes. They are a mix of Spike Lee's favorite Air Jordan, the 3,4,5,6,9 and 20 models. A very cool mash up of these signature models. I was beyond excited to see these when I got the call they had arrived. I'll never forget the smell of this sexy shoe. They were awesome! Before I knew it I was online daily seeing what was new in the sneaker (Jordan) world. At the time there was Flight Club, a exclusive club that offered rare sneakers to its members. Also other sites like Sneakerfiles, and Kix and the city were also helpful in staying informed with future drops. Before I knew it I had a couple handfuls of Jordan.
